Cinnamon is a true Heinz 57! She is a sweet girl, around 11 months old, and 35 lbs. She loves ride in the truck/car, take long walks and play ball. She also loves to snuggle. She will sleep on your lap or next to you. When she goes to bed, she is out for the night. She is fully house trained, but can't free roam yet when you leave her alone, since she is still young, and will chew on things she shouldn't. She is smart and understands when you tell her no. She can be vocal when she wants to play, or she is hungry. She sits and waits for food and takes snacks gently. She is good with the three dogs and cat in her foster home. She has no prey drive. She is good with her fosters chickens and the neighbors pigs. She ignores the squirrels and rabbits on walks or when she sees them in the fenced in yard.
Sadly this sweet girl came to us very fearful. She has come a long way, is very sensitive. and still learning to trust humans. She is looking for a home where she will be loved, will get the patience she needs, and show her that there are good people in this world. She has come a very long way and she will continue to improve. She really wants a person of her very own and a furever home. She needs a home without small children, but would be ok with teens who are experienced dog owners and respectful. She would love to live with other dogs but would be fine as an only dog. She would be a great companion for someone looking for a best friend to adventure with. If you think that is you, please apply for her and come and meet her at her foster home in Loveland. She is available through Big Bones Rescue. Apply for her today!

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
