My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Neptune! This boy is just 3 years old and about 53lbs. He is handsome, dashing and loves to be loved. Neptune has been rescued from Moreno Valley high kill shelter in California recently and currently is residing in Connecticut. He is neutered and UTD on all shots including rabies and so ready to meet his new family and fur-ever home. Neptune is very playful, he likes his humans, loves belly rubs and ear scratches. He was kenneled with another dog and may get along with other dogs. He has athletic build and is very strong. He would be a perfect fit for someone who loves hiking and nature walks. Neptune is very gentle with accepting treats and has not presented any resource guarding issues. He has very keen sense of smell. He knows sit, stay working on lay down. He is not very vocal like typical Huskies are but that may change given time. On walks he dosen’t seem to care if other dogs are in the distance and/or barking, it doesn’t seem to faze him. He walks well on the leash.
