Hello, I'm Taffy! I was born in May 2024, so I’m getting to be a bigger kitten now, but I’m very much still young and impressionable.
I had a lonely start in my kittenhood, and spent several months not trusting humans, but my foster mom has been so patient with me, and I’m so happy that she has, because it’s nice to have someone to be my bestie. I come to sleep with my humans when I feel lonely, and come to get pets when I’m feeling confident. I really am very, very sweet, just like taffy candy. I’m always happy to see you.
I still have my kitten mew-mew, and will talk to my toys, but also talk to you when it’s time for snacks. Sometimes, I get so excited for mealtime, I will make biscuits as I eat. I’ve also recently started to make biscuits at cuddle time, and my foster mom is so proud of me for coming this far! I’ve also recently discovered my tail; why it keeps moving when I try to catch it, I don’t know!
I'm looking for a patient, experienced cat parent that can help continue to teach me to trust humans. I didn't know love as a young one, and so day-by-day, I'm learning to be loved. I need a home that will look forward to the reward that comes with developing me into a social family cat. I would be fine by myself because I love attention, but I would love a play buddy if you already have someone at home that is itching to play.
A quiet house would be ideal for me as I come out of my comfort zone and you show me that it's OK to be loved. I'm making so much progress on that front! I'm so happy to be learning this new life of love. I don't think kids or dogs would be good for my home because a lot of commotion is still scary to me.
Adopt me and let's create sweet memories together!
Taffy has been spayed and microchipped. She is up to date with the vaccinations and rabies. She has tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
