Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Gracie is looking for a loving forever home! Gracie is a female miniature schnauzer born on 4/18/19. She was given up by a breeder when she was no longer needed to make puppies. Gracie needs an experienced and patient dog lover who knows how to handle skittish or breeder release dogs.
Gracie has been in her current (Wisconsin) foster home since the middle of September. She has gained a lot of confidence in that time. She loves to hang out in the same room that you’re in. Enjoys laying next to you on a chair. Doesn’t jump up on her own, but with your verbal cue she’ll let you pick her up. Ever so often, she’ll wrestle/play with one of her willing house mates. In the yard, she’ll venture around either with the other dog or my herself. Gracie’s recall needs work but eventually she comes to the door. She kennels good when you’re gone or at nighttime. She was really good when groomed, including doing her nails.
Gracie is still unsure of strangers but gets better over time. Her foster usually bring her to where they are so she can see who, what she’s fussing about. Polite patient people of all ages will suit her (yes even polite grandkids!). She loves her squeak toys and think they remind her of her puppies. Her little tail flutters when she hears a squeak. Mealtime (breakfast and supper) are her favorite times. She turns herself inside out till you put her bowl down.
If you think you have room in your life and heart for this sweet little girl, she won’t disappoint you. If you have a secure fence and another dog Gracie is your gal.
Gracie is spayed, had a dental, up to date on shots, de-wormed, micro-chipped and fecal tested and heart-worm tested negative.
