** Note: Currently, Boknam is in Korea but we are looking for his forever home in Toronto. His flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for Oct. 19.
Background: Boknam was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon this spring as part of the "Save 100 Dogs" project. Since then, he has been living at our partner boarding house with other dogs, waiting for his forever home.
Personality and Socialization: Boknam is a sweet, gentle dog with medium energy. He is friendly, sociable, and loves being around people, both men and women. Boknam isn't shy and adores attention and pets. He also enjoys playing with other dogs his size and is bright, playful, and affectionate, making him the perfect cuddle buddy.
Behaviors: Although Boknam has limited experience walking on a leash, he loves exploring the outdoors. He’s comfortable with baths, grooming, and is great in the car. At vet visits, he is well-behaved and calm. While he’s generally quiet indoors, he’ll bark a little when it’s mealtime or to invite people to play with him. Boknam is adaptable and eager to learn.
Health and Diet: Boknam is in excellent health and has completed all his medical checkups. He is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and receives regular parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has no known allergies.
Ideal Home: Boknam would thrive in a home where someone is around often, whether that be someone who works from home or is retired. As he’s still young, he will need attention and interaction, so his adopter should be ready for that. Boknam is an affectionate, lovable little angel, and anyone who adopts him will be very lucky to have him in their life.
