Ginger is a southern belle with lots of charm looking for a home of her own. She is potty trained, sleeps the night in her crate, and is working on her leash manners. This silly girl`s special talent is curling herself up into the `cinnamon bun` position when she gets nice and comfy on a dog bed or couch. She is a superstar meeting new dogs and people, and loves to play and go for car rides! Her favorite game is tug but she is happy to do anything as long as she is with you. She may be able tp go home to another active and tolerant dog pending a dog meet, and while she has not met any cats, she may be OK with them pending a slow introduction.
Ginger is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
