My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pomona may look serious, but she’s more like a short, cute, little teddy bear! She is a hidden gem who has been overlooked in an overcrowded shelter and has been there since September without a single night out. She’s patiently waiting for someone to give her a chance.

While Pomona might need a little time to warm up to new people, once she does, she’s incredibly loving and affectionate. She enjoys her walks and loves taking her time to sniff and explore her surroundings.

Pomona also participated in a playgroup with a male dog who shared her run-and-chase play style and did wonderfully, showing she has the potential to make a doggy friend. Slow, controlled dog introductions are always recommended, and the CARE Volunteer Training Team is ready to help with that.

Please give Pomona chance! She is waiting to meet you!
