Hello! I’m Noma, and I’d like to share my story with you. I didn’t always know where I fit in, but life has taught me the true meaning of love and loyalty. My journey began in a place where horses weren’t treated kindly, but that’s only the start of my tale. I was rescued and welcomed into a special family who saw me not just as a horse, but as a friend and partner.
In that family, there was a teenage boy who needed me as much as I needed him. He was facing one of the toughest battles—cancer. We found strength in each other, and he named me Noma after the fight he was going through (Melanoma). Together, we tackled our challenges head-on. He never gave up on me, and I never gave up on him. With the help of his mom, a horse trainer, I was given a fresh start, and soon, we were riding together. We took lessons, practiced hard, and built an unbreakable bond.
For three wonderful years, we were inseparable. Not even cancer or the global pandemic could come between us. But life changes, and now that he’s healthy and embracing new adventures—like sports and dating—I find myself looking for that special connection again. I miss those days when we shared everything, and I’m ready for a new chapter filled with love and companionship.
I’m searching for my next partner, someone who will appreciate my affectionate nature (I’ll follow you anywhere if you let me!). I’m rideable and loyal, with a gentle spirit. I want a forever home where I can be more than just a horse—I want to be your best friend.
Could we be a match? Let’s create new memories and discover where our journey might lead.
I’m 15 hh, great in the trailer (always first to load), low-maintenance, and perfect for an intermediate or confident advanced beginner rider. At 18 years old, I’m good with the farrier and have a gentle, loving heart. I come with a free new Weatherbeeta blanket to keep me warm this winter, and 100% of my adoption proceeds will go to a horse rescue to benefit other rescue horses.
Could you be the one for me?
