Pekkle is a gentle soul with a heart as beautiful as her unique puppy-dog eyes. She may be a bit shy at first, but with patience and a few meet-and-greets, she’ll warm up and reveal her loving, affectionate side. Once she’s confident, she soaks up all the love she can get!

She’s happiest when basking in the sun, getting snuggles, and enjoying plenty of ear scratches. And when she’s in the yard? She absolutely loves splashing around in the water! While Pekkle is still working on her leash manners, she’s eager to learn—she already knows "sit" and is ready for more challenges.

This amazing girl is waiting for the perfect home filled with love, patience, and plenty of sunny spots to relax in.

We are a no-kill shelter that believes in second chances! At PAWS, companion animals are given medical attention, care, and love for however long it takes for us to find them a loving home.
