This affectionate pup dreams of nothing more than being with his people, soaking up all the love and attention you can give. He’s housetrained, sleeps through the night, and has a playful side, enjoying both chew toys and the thrill of de-stuffing plush ones.

On walks, Toby’s eager to move, preferring a brisk pace or even a run—though he’s always happy to pause for an interesting scent trail. He’s calm around kids and mostly keeps to himself around other dogs. His ideal day? Just being with his favorite humans. And if you need a reason to fall in love with him—he’s a world-class kisser. The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
