Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My dogs name is Hermes! He’s gonna be three this April! He’s a very sweet dog who loves affection and attention. He needs a little time and patience with transitioning but he just has a lot of feelings. I think it’s charming. Once he’s transitioned he’s fine. He’s very trainable and loves playing with toys or just hanging out on his bed while the family watched tv. He knows the basic commands of leaving it, staying, sitting, etc. very well. He can be a little jumpy when overexcited but otherwise very well behaved. Especially if you take him on walks often enough that can deplete his energy a little. He’s just so deserving of a loving family. He loves all his stuffed animals and cuddles with them sometimes more than he plays with him. He was raised with a brother and has interacted with some dogs. He’s around my cousins and family from ages 5+ and with a little bit of direction and patience he does well. He’s a mostly outside dog currently but for a year was mostly inside. Potty trained
