Male, 1 year old, 40 lbs
Personality: gentle, snuggler, loyal, good running partner, smart, goofy/funny, energetic, shy, eager-to-please, affectionate, and playful
Prince thrives on companionship and wants to be part of everything you do, whether that's going for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or even helping out with chores. His favorite spot is right next to you, often curled up on your lap, drifting off to sleep with the softest snores.
With his happy and wiggly nature, Prince has charmed everyone he meets and enjoys the company of his canine friends too. He's respectful and picks up on cues from other dogs, making him a great playmate or a wonderful companion for another furry friend.
This adorable pup is not just a cuddle bug; he’s also a quick learner and fully house trained, with no accidents in his foster home! He takes treats gently and loves training sessions, which makes learning fun for everyone involved. His current project is “four feet on the floor” when meeting new people, and he is making lots of progress!
Prince behaves well in his crate overnight and enjoys long walks. His gentle nature and eagerness to please make him an ideal match for families or individuals looking for a loyal companion. If you're searching for a loving, easy-going dog to share your adventures with, Prince is ready to steal your heart and become your new best friend!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
