My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mavis, an adorable pug mix with a stunning brindle coat and the cutest smushed face that’s impossible not to adore. Mavis is full of energy and loves to zoom around the yard—she’s impressively fast and can often be seen dashing by, thrilled to have her people nearby cheering her on.

Mavis is best suited as the only dog in the home, as she has a strong preference for keeping her space and especially her food to herself. However, she still loves playtime with her doggie pals at Helping Paws, especially when they take turns chasing each other in the yard.

This playful girl has a quirky side, too—she thinks grass is a tasty treat and loves munching on it while exploring outdoors. Mavis is also a high jumper, especially when she’s excited to climb into your lap for a cuddle or shower you with her signature kisses! She’s very consistent with going potty outside and is sure to bring her big personality and loving spirit into any home.

If you’re ready to meet a spirited, lovable pup with a big heart, reach out to Helping Paws to learn more about Mavis!
