Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mithras, a.k.a. Russie, is an all around adorable and cuddly kitten.
He has gorgeously thick black fur that is shiny, and the sweetest yellow eyes.
Being an all black kitten, his absolute adorableness doesn’t always show up in pictures so we hope you will take our word for it!
Russie is a social butterfly.
He has never met a human or a cat whom he doesn’t like.
With humans, he loves being touched and held, often coming up to us and settling down on our laps for some love.
With other cats and kittens, Russie is the kitten that gets along with everyone.
His favourite thing to do right now is to chase his sister around the house at top speed, and he loves a good kitten wrestle.
He is also known as somewhat of a miracle kitten in our house, having made friends with another foster cat who has been scared of social interactions.
We think it is the way that he approaches other cats in a friendly yet not too pushy or territorial way that made him successful.
He now visits this friend in her room every morning, running up to her and rubbing up next to her.
Because of this friendliness, we think Russie would thrive if he was adopted into home with another cat or adopted with another kitten.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving.
We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are.
We regret any inconvenience caused as we do our best to meet the overwhelming demand we are currently experiencing.
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.

Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter.
We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
