Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Jimmy. I am about 7 or 8 years old, but I still am as spry as a spring chicken. I have currently been in foster care for the last week, and my foster mom has a lot of good things to say about me! Here are a few of the great things she said about me while I was at her house:
Although Jimmy is an older dog, he still has a lot of energy. He would benefit from an active home, who would love to take him on nice loooonggg walks. Although he is small, he is very strong. He would do best with a harness while on walks!
He loves to jump, and would benefit from having a tall, fenced in yard. Because of how high he can jump, placing things you do not want him to get into high up would be best!
Even though he is so energetic, he settles in nicely when it's time to go to sleep. He seems to be housetrained, as he hasn't had a SINGLE accident in the home.
While he was left home alone, he did not disturb anything in the house!
He is initially aloof but warms up quickly and becomes an amazing lap/ Velcro dog. He will follow you around the house.
He LOVES blankets. His favorite thing to do at night is to come into the bedroom, and burrow underneath the blankets. He will sleep throughout the entire night, undisturbed.
If Jimmy sounds like he would be a right fit for you, come on in and learn more about this handsome man!
