My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Pin Cushion, a quiet little  purr-anormal  miracle with a flair for the cozy life. I didn’t have the easiest start—at 3 months old, I was half the size I should’ve been. But don’t worry, I bounced back like a champ and earned my name thanks to a few too many pokes (don’t ask—it’s a  purr-sonal  tale).

I’m a calm and collected soul, looking for a lap to warm while you read, binge-watch, or simply admire my  meow-gnificence . Bonus points if you love a good petting session—I’m all about those. When I’m really happy, I let out the cutest little tail wag, like a tiny victory dance.

Oh, and about my ear tip? Let’s just say I tried the “trendy” look and now I’m rocking it with quiet confidence. We don’t have to  ear-itate  the subject further.

If you’ve got a chill vibe and maybe a quiet buddy who shares my refined interests, we could be  purr-fect  together. Adopt me, and I’ll make sure your heart stays warm (along with your lap)!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
