8-year-old Margrita is a beautiful, sweet-natured 40 lb. mini-shepherd looking for her forever home. With a loving personality, she thrives in a family environment, especially around children. She has experience with kids ranging from 1 to 15 years old and absolutely adores their company!
Personality:
Family-Friendly: Great with children and adults alike.
Playful: She's a ball of energy when it comes to fetch and will chase her ball until she's ready for a nap.
Social: Enjoys interacting with other dogs when properly introduced and gets along well with her hypo-allergenic rescue sibling.
Training & Behavior:
House-Trained: Margrita is well-behaved indoors and accustomed to having access to a doggie door.
Leash Behavior: She can be protective on a leash and tends to react to aggressive dogs. She'll bark and scratch at the fence if she sees other dogs passing by, but she's also very loyal and protective of her home.
Boundary Setter: While she plays well with other dogs, she will assert herself if another dog tries to take her ball.
Activities:
Margrita loves outdoor adventures! She enjoys:
* Chasing her ball at home and the dog park
* Going on hikes
* Splashing around at the beach
Ideal Home:
Margrita would thrive in a loving home with an active family. She would enjoy having children to play with and maybe even another dog to keep her company. If you're looking for a sweet companion who loves to fetch and go on adventures, Margrita might just be the perfect match!
