Athena is a beautiful female Doberman with a sleek black and tan coat, natural ears, and a docked tail. She is approximately 4 to 5 years old. Found in a parking lot in Arizona, she has been through quite the journey to our rescue and is now looking for her forever home.

Athena adores people and is friendly with strangers, always happy to join you on walks, car rides, and outings to stores like Lowe’s. Her favorite pastimes include running, playing, and using her blanket as a pacifier. While she’s been a fantastic foster dog, she needs to be the only dog in her new home due to her resource guarding tendencies with food and toys. Due to this, we recommend a home with no small children. Athena thrives in a structured environment and has shown incredible loyalty and affection towards those she bonds with.

She is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and spayed. Athena loves spending time outside but prefers cooler weather. She has a high prey drive, especially with small animals like squirrels, and would do best in a home without cats or small animals.
