Fofo and Tobin’s story begins with an 80-year-old Detroit resident who opened her heart and home to a young, pregnant cat in need. After giving birth, she made sure the whole family received full veterinary care at All About Animals, before bringing them to FCS, ready for adoption. These two adorable kittens are bundles of joy—super playful, incredibly affectionate, and full of energy. Whether they’re curling up on your lap for a cozy nap, chasing after toys, or showering you with sweet kitten kisses, Fofo and Tobin are guaranteed to bring endless smiles and warmth to your home!

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
