Hello, I'm Clapton. I may be a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me, you'll find I'm the sweetest, gentlest soul you've ever met. I'm not as young as I once was, and my sight isn't what it used to be - I have a cataract in one eye. But don't let that deter you. I still love walks and I'm a great listener. I'm not the type to jump up and down when I first meet you, but give me time. I promise, I'll be the most loyal friend you'll ever have. Why should you adopt me? Because everyone needs a friend who's been through a bit, but still has a lot of love to give.

More about this rescue

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare, care and adoption of abandoned and homeless animals. We also provide educational materials that will help pet owners with their animals. All of our animals are kept in foster homes. We also have rescue animals in need of medical care.

We do this because we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in the community. We hope to do this through education, being an advocate for the animals, endeavoring to reduce animals over population (spay/neutering) and preventing animal cruelty.
