Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a victim of divorce and had to come back to the humane society. She loves children and will protect them as her own. According to the owner she isn't good with other dogs or cats , so we currently recommend her as an only pet.

Cookie does have protein-losing enteropthy which causes her protein levels to be low. She does require extra protein in her food which consists of two eggs a day and cottage cheese.

If you would like to meet any of our pets, they are available for viewing, every single day from noon until 3:30pm. Calling before a long drive is recommended to confirm availability. The Ripley County Humane Society, Inc. is a not for profit 501(C)3 organization operating a No Kill animal shelter in Ripley County, Indiana. The purpose of the Corporation is to secure the future of needy domesticated animals in Ripley County. This is accomplished by providing suitable care, food, shelter, treatment and placement into a humane environment, educating the public concerning animal welfare; advocating humane treatment of animals and fostering relationships between people and animals. The Ripley County Humane Society is funded solely on donations. The misson of the Ripley County Humane Society is to provide assistance to needy, domesticated animals in Ripley County and to educate the residents of Ripley County regarding animal welfare.
