My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocky! A three year old German Shepherd mix. Rocky was abandoned in the neighborhood and taken in by a neighbor. He has been neutered and is completing his heartworm treatment. While Rocky likes to chill, he is an adventure dog that likes to hike (on leash), explore his neighborhood, and meet new people. Did I say he likes to walk! Rocky loves taking walks and can easily go for a two mile walk. He gets along with other dogs and has lived with children and toddlers. Like a typical German shepherd, Rocky needs a strong leader who can help him with his manners. He is really smart and picks up new tasks quickly. He LOVES his people and loves to be petted. He doesn’t jump on furniture and is the best house trained foster I have ever had. Rocky likes to hang out in the sun but he is a house dog who kennel trained ed and loves his bed. He is a very patient dog and will sit quietly if you are behind schedule with feeding him or letting him out. He loves to be a helper if you are doing things around the house like painting or fixing things. He is curious and enjoys new places and sights. Rocky is good in the car but needs to occasionally be reminded to sit in the back. Once you remind him he is fine. If you are an adventurous person or family that is looking to add a new member to your active family, Rocky is your guy!

Heartworm treatment started 10/12 (FULLY SPONSORED)
