Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger was abandoned by her owners. They took the dog, but left her and another cat to fend for themselves. She was left in the house and fortunately the neighbors looked out for her. The other cat is an outside cat, very skittish, unable to get.

Additional adoption info

The adoption application is located on our website. Home visits will be made and vet references must be provided. There is an adoption fee on all animals that helps to offset the cost of veterinary care and spay/neuter of the animal.

To view the dogs, please fill out an application and we will schedule a time that works for you!

Our shelter is located at 1860 Old Airport Road in New Bern, NC. We are open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-6pm to view cats.

Kitten adoption events are held most Saturdays at PetSmart (Wal-Mart shopping center) in New Bern from 11am - 2pm.
