Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Raleigh, a 7-year-old Treeing Walker Hound mix with a heart of gold. This charming, loyal gentleman is the perfect blend of adventure partner and cuddle companion 💜
Raleigh is a gentle soul who enjoys daily walks, making friends, and showing off his excellent leash manners. After a stroll, he’s happy to settle in as your work-from-home buddy or keep the shelter staff company as an office pup. He’s also house trained, intelligent, and eager to show off his manners - he’s mastered basic obedience like “sit”! Raleigh has a playful side too and enjoys gently tossing around stuffed animals in his downtime.
While he may not require a canine companion, Raleigh is dog-friendly and happy to share his home with other pups. However, he kindly notes that feline or feathered roommates - like chickens or other small animals - aren’t the best match for him. His curious hound nose finds them just a bit too fascinating!
If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion with a knack for sniffing out love, Raleigh could be the perfect fit.
