A volunteer writes: One of my favorite things at the shelter right now is passing Molly's kennel. Initially shy and wary of interacting, she has blossomed into a social little girl. She either tip taps in her kennel when I pass with her elegant opera glove covered arms, hoping to come out. Or she demurely lays watching. She is a little girl, a petite 46lbs. Her previous family says she loves car rides, is not a fan of other dogs or nail trims, and lived well with a 4 year old child.
My #Boroughbreak Buddy writes: Molly was a very good girl on our hike and outing. She is pretty easygoing yet playful and curious of her surroundings and walked well on leash. Creatures interested her but she was not hard to manage on a long line. She especially loved napping, giving paw to shake, exploring storefronts and meeting people, sharing my lunch, sticking her head out of the car window & being told she is a pretty girl. Molly knows her worth and opens up really endearingly.
My #Boroughbreak Buddy writes: Molly is initially timid and easily startled at first but has a very happy, loving, curious demeanor. She constantly wags her tail, walked fairly well on a leash (aside from wanting to sniff everything) and was quick to snuggle and open up. She knows basic commands such as sit and shake and is treat motivated.
My #Boroughbreak Buddy writes: She will come to you in her own time. She is open to matching your energy. Want to just do chores while she sits on the couch? Sure! Want to play catch with the ball? Sure! The ball is her favorite. And she knows basic commands for treats. She is not big with touching of the feet. And was able to be redirected when walking across other dogs and cats. Able to be taught the house rules. Primary Color: Gray Weight: 50.125 Age: 8yrs 4mths 1wks
