Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My name is Sandy, and the rescue thinks I am a Wheaten Terrier mix of some kind, because not only do I have this beautiful coat, I also behave very much like a terrier! I am around 45 lbs, and I am a big fan of chew toys, but true to my terrier nature, I will shred Lamb Chop, so do consider giving me a more sturdy option like a Kong.
When I first came to my foster home, I had no manners. I mean, I love my humans so much and I just want to be on them all the time. If I could crawl into them, I would. My motto in life is, ‘If there is a lap, I am on it!’ I also thought hands made great chewing objects. My foster parents taught me that it is impolite to chew on hands, and that jumping does not get me out the door faster. I still get really excited and forget sometimes, but I do want to please you so if you keep reminding me, I will remember it in no time. I love using my nose (my foster parents call me a crotch sniffer, I have no idea why…), so I hope my new family takes me out on plenty of walks and play sniffing games with me.
I am a wonderful co-sleeper but if you prefer to kennel me for the night, I am really quiet in there too. Also, I have my potty training down pat! My foster parents are very impressed! I have a large foster sister I love to play with and would enjoy fur siblings that will tolerate my excitable nature.
So, what do you say? Are you ready to take me home?
