Meet Tessie, who comes to us as an owner surrender. Tessie is a 3-year-old, 25 lb., Mini Doodle. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Tessie is literally a designer dog and was originally purchased from a breeder. We were told she's got separation anxiety, but at the moment, she is doing well in foster care. We were also told that she also does not do well with children. She is extremely playful and interactive. She loves her toys and entertaining herself. Tessie can be mouthy at times, but we feel that is just because she doesn't know how to properly play with people. She does not try to bite or hurt you, she just needs to be a tad bit gentler and with some training we feel this can be easily corrected. Other dogs have tried to provoke her in the past few days, and she has been nonreactive, but she would likely best in a home with no other dogs since she's always been an only dog in her previous home.
