It was a cold winter day when we got an email about an injured feral cat with a hurt paw that smelled real bad. The next day, Birdee was trapped in record time and off to the vet she went! This poor girl had pillow pad on all four paws. Fortunately, Birdee is a very sweet appreciative girl, and she merrily took her meds every day for about two months. She was a new woman!! Birdee has transformed before our eyes into a lovely girl who just wants love and canned food. She will initially establish a safe spot for petting and she LOVES to be brushed. This sweet girl has been through a lot and is still very timid, but once she settles into her new surroundings and realizes that she is going to get canned food every day she warms up to the humans in her life. Birdee will need a quiet home where she can slowly settle and come out of her shell. She was very tolerant of other cats in her foster home but she was not a fan of the dog. Loud noises and sudden movements send her running for a hiding spot but after a week or so, she settles and becomes more comfortable with her surroundings. Have wet food and brush ready to spoil this sweet girl!
