Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bullit is a 5 1/2 to 6 year old neutered male dog that we suspect is black mouth cur and shepherd mix. Even with having been confined to a crate for 10 plus hours a day and no formal training Bullitt is an amazing dog. He just loves to be out of his crate and is very independent, he doesn't need to be by your side all the time but he must be on a leash at all times outdoors, he will take off. We have seen no traces of separation anxiety or aggression from this sweet boy.
Bullitt is good with other dogs, I haven't seen him meet a dog he hasn't wanted to play with yet. He is great with kids, but as with all dogs should be supervised with young children around. He is people friendly, walks great on a leash and is an all around joy to have.
Bullitt will adjust to your lifestyle and energy level, though he will need either play dates or long walks if you are the kind of person who stays indoors all the time. He was never formally trained so the foster family is currently taking him to PetSmart for Training. Bullitt also goes to the Barker Lounge on occasion for daycare, everyone loves him there.
If interested in adopting, please send an email to lowcountryanimalrescue@Ymail.com for an application.
WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
