`Hello, I`m Princess Peach! My foster parents call me Princess for short and say it is a fitting name for me. I am a sweet and spicy Chihuahua who likes to be the center of attention. I love to be on a lap at every opportunity and will push my way to the best spot if I need to. I am about 3 years old and have young dog energy to burn! I like to release my energy by spending time outside in the yard and playing with toys with my humans.
Although I am a sweet and loving girl at the core, I get quite overstimulated when meeting new people so don`t always give the best first impression. Once, shortly after going to my foster home from the shelter, I got so overstimulated and overwhelmed that I bit my foster mom and I felt really bad about it. My foster mom gave me another chance and we have learned how to interact well together so it hasn`t happened again. My foster parents have been helping me learn better behavior and I have learned how to potty outside, stay and wait for my food, and how to interact more nicely with others. I love treats and don`t like to be in trouble so I am able to learn new things pretty well. Once I`m settled in somewhere I am fun, affectionate and very cuddly! I like to cuddle with the other dogs in the house and enjoy their company.
I am looking for my forever family who can be patient enough to let me settle in and get comfortable before I show my true loving personality. And who would be patien and understanding if I am not perfect right away and can keep helping me learn how to be on my best behavior. I want to be a good girl! In return I promise to share lots of love, snuggles and joy with you!`
