My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sawyer: Your Loyal Lovebug

Sawyer is an 80-pound lap dog and likely a boxer mix who just wants to be by your side. He’s super obedient and knows sit, lay down, and paw (the cutest handshake). He’s happiest when he can make you happy and thrives on love more than treats.

What Makes Sawyer Special

Gentle and Well-Mannered: He’s potty-trained, leash-trained, and walks calmly right by your side. No crate is needed—he’s well-behaved and easy to trust.

Toy Lover: Sawyer adores toys and will happily bring them to you. Despite his playful nature, he’s not destructive.

Great Car Companion: He travels well and enjoys car rides.

Solo Star: Sawyer does best as the only dog in the home. He’s not reactive or aggressive, but past experiences have made him cautious around other dogs.

Good with Kids (So Far): He’s had a few positive interactions with children, but it’s hard to say for sure how he’d do long-term.

Protective but Loving: He’s a little shy at first and protective of his home, but with time, he’ll show you just how much love he has to give.

Sawyer is an easygoing, affectionate companion who would be perfect for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Whether you’re an older individual or a family ready for a gentle, playful, and loving dog, Sawyer is ready to fill your life with joy!
