My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldfish is fully-grown at just 35 pounds. He’s a really good dog and a big favorite with our volunteers and animal care team.

He got to go on an outing with one of our volunteers, where we walk a group of dogs along the Atlanta Belt Line, and Goldfish got glowing reviews, with his volunteer writing:

“He is so fun and curious. He loves to check out other dogs and to meet people. He never barked. He could use a little leash training and learn not to jump on people, but I think he could be easily trained. He loved playing with Pudding while we were waiting to load up the van. I think he would make a great pet for a family and even get along well with other dogs.”

Because he’s still learning, we’re recommending Goldfish for adult homes or families with kids about 8 and older.
