My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abracadabra, world! I’m Wizard, a magical 2-year-old pit mix who’s traveled all the way from Florida to Indiana in search of my forever home. My journey began after the hurricane last year, but don’t worry—I’m no stormy soul. I’m a ray of sunshine wrapped in fur and ready to bring some spellbinding joy to your life.

I’ve got high energy, which makes me the perfect partner for anyone who’s always on the go. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a game of fetch, or just chasing a few enchanted squirrels (playfully, of course), I’m up for the adventure! On the leash, I’m surprisingly easy to walk, and while I sometimes get so excited that my listening skills need a little polishing, I’ve been known to follow commands when treats or encouragement are involved. With a bit of positive reinforcement, I’m sure I’ll be turning tricks into treats in no time!

Meeting new people and other dogs? It sort of depends on where and when. In my kennel I can be shy and think twice about saying hi. On a walk when I'm happy and on the move, making friends is my favorite magic trick! I’m friendly to all and have a playful charm that works like a love potion. While I might chase after animals in fun, I’m not fearful or aggressive—it’s all part of my curious and lively personality.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts energy, charm, and love, I might just be the wizard you’ve been searching for. Let’s cast a spell of happiness together—your new adventure awaits with me by your side!
