Monkey is a young lad of 5 months, DOB 5/23/24, who left his home and traveled to Nebraska to find a better life. Like others before him, he dreamed of a warm home filled with soft beds and lots and lots of toys! Monkey is learning house training and uses a potty pad about 50% of the time, loves to play with other dogs and toys and will keep himself occupied if the other dogs don't play with him. He loves to watch television enjoying both Animal Planet and Animal Encounters, followed by a long snuggle in foster mom's arms.
Monkey is a very smart and happy puppy with all the mischievous habits normal for his age. He sleeps quietly all night in his kennel and when foster mom must leave the house. He would be great in a home with older children as he still loves to play bite and explore everything by putting it his mouth.
The suggested adoption donation for Monkey is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
