Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This lovable lady arrived at the shelter in late October, pregnant and ready to embark on a new chapter in her life. Thanks to a wonderful foster mom, Twix had a safe, cozy home to welcome her puppies into the world. Now, with her motherly duties complete, Twix is ready to find her forever family.
Here’s what Twix’s foster mom has to share about her:
Affectionate Companion: Twix is the ultimate snuggle buddy. She loves to climb up on the couch, curl up by your side, and be your loyal companion. Potty Pro: Twix is house-trained and follows a potty schedule like a pro. She’ll even let you know with a bark if she needs to go outside off schedule—even in the worst weather! Toy Lover: Twix has a playful side and enjoys chewing on Benebones and antlers. She has a quirky habit of carefully guarding her favorite toys in her crate—though her preference for which toys to protect is a mystery! Quiet and Alert: While not an excessive barker, Twix will let you know when someone (or something) is nearby. Otherwise, she’s a calm and quiet girl. Walks Like a Champ: Twix loves daily walks and does well on a leash, especially with a Sensible harness. While she can be strong-willed when she spots a squirrel or deer, her leash manners are generally great. Crate Lover: Twix finds comfort in her crate, often choosing it as her go-to spot for sleeping and relaxing. It’s her personal sanctuary where she keeps her treasures safe. What Twix Needs in a Home: Twix thrives in a calm and loving environment. While she adores people, she’s still learning how to navigate interactions with other dogs and may need a home where she’s the only pet or with a family ready to help her work on this skill. Her ideal home includes lots of snuggles, playtime, and plenty of love.
Are you ready to give Twix the forever home she deserves? She’s sure to fill your days with affection, joy, and endless tail wags!
