Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bosley came in as a stray, thin and untrusting. He quickly became acquainted with our Training Team and his progress has been excellent. While we're still working on leash manners, he sits on command and will also stop and sit while walking if you stop. He sits and waits at gates and doors as well. Rewards ("Good Boy!", chin scratches, and treats) are given to reinforce his good behavior and his reward for you is his happy smile! Learning new things has given him confidence, in himself and in people.
Going to playgroups with other dogs has also helped him adjust to shelter life. He can be a bit of a rowdy player, which many dogs are. He and his friends have a great time!
"The Bos" is also a love-bug, once he recognizes you as a friend, who leans in for affection and enjoys being petted. He has the makings of a great companion. A great home is all that's missing!
