Say hello to Maverick! PK welcomed this sweet Norwegian Elkhound mix from another local rescue, after he was originally picked up as a stray. Maverick is around 2 years old and weighs 36 lbs. While we are still learning more about Maverick, we know he is a very friendly and outgoing boy. He likes to give people kisses! Maverick is energetic and enjoys burning energy on walks with his volunteer friends. He has quite a thick coat, so he will need a family who is willing to provide for his grooming needs. Maverick is open to meeting other dogs if you have them in the household; however, he cannot live with cats. We believe he would do fine in a home with children.
