Please meet Gracie, the ultimate cutie patootie with a sweet and innocent expression that will steal your heart in an instant. Her beautiful gray and white coat perfectly complements her wide, curious eyes that follow your every move around the room. Gracie is a quiet observer, always taking in her surroundings with a gentle, endearing curiosity. She’s also got a playful side and loves joining in on the fun when the mood strikes. Ready to be part of your family, Gracie will bring a perfect balance of peaceful companionship and joyful playfulness to your home.
Currently, Gracie and Jayda (FCID# 04/13/2022 -41) are enjoying a cage-break with their foster who says, 'The two of them are like two peas in a pod. They are both sedate ladies who blend in so well with home life you would think they have lived here forever. Jayda has found her favorite place to be on the arm of the couch or sleeping in the heated bed. Gracie finally came out of the bathroom and is now making her sleeping arrangements on a scratching box. Yesterday evening when Gracie wandered out of the bathroom, Jayda gave her a little hiss and Gracie looked at her as if to say “whatever”.
I think both of them would be fine in a house with other cats. They don’t have the “exploration gene” that Mia (FCID# 08/26/2024 - 24, with another foster) seems to have but rather are both happy to feel safe and secure and loved. When you are sitting down, Gracie loves to give your legs head butts to remind you that she is there and wants to be petted. She is not so much a lap cat but makes a good side partner. Although I haven’t tried it here, Jayda was very happy to be a lap cat at the adoption center.'
Please ask to meet Gracie!
Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt? Please consider fostering: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you! (Foster: Trainer, Leslie L.)

Meet the Pet
An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & those that are in our clinic/shelters, but not to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees are based upon the age of the cat - kitten, adult, 7+ yrs. - how many cats are being adopted and special needs cats.
Take the Pet Home
An adopted pet must be taken home in a carrier. If there are other pets at home, please give them a slow intro period of about 2 weeks.
