My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jax! He's a senior chihuahua mix, looking for a chill home to spend the rest of his days. Don't let the gray hair and age fool ya tho, he still has plenty of energy and spunk to go around. He came from a home with more than 10 other dogs, and that served him well bc he is very dog and cat friendly. He currently lives with four other dogs and one cat.

Jax is also very affectionate . He will follow you around, ask for pets ans snuggle next to you any time the moment allows. He is not a vocal guy but he gets super excited during feeding time. We feed all our dogs in their own safe space and Jax is no different. He does have a bit of food aggression with other dogs, but we have had zero issues bc we feed our dogs separately and always recommend that to adopters. He came from a home with so many animals so it's likely he had to compete for food his entire life.

He loves to go for walks and car rides. He has plenty of energy to keep up.

The foster parent for your inquired animal will reach out for a meet and greet if you are approved.

Meet the Pet

Ideally this will take place in the potential adopters home. If not, this can be done in a public setting.

Pay Fee

You will receive a PayPal invoice for the adoption fee prior to adoption.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Adoptions are scheduled after a successful meet and greet with an official 405 Animal Rescue adoption counselor via our scheduling link.
