My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🩷WREN🩷
Breed Guess: Dachshund mix?
Age: 1 Year
Weight: 18 lbs
Housetrained
Crate trained
Dog friendly
Meet Miss Wren!
This adorable, short legged, little girl is full of personality.
Initially shy, once she warms up and earns some trust, she is the most loving and affectionate little girl in the world!
Wren is a favorite in doggy daycare with dogs of all sizes, and would enjoy a fun loving, playful dog sibling larger than herself in her forever home, as she does play hard.
Wren is not a destructive dog but does like lots of toys and chew bones around.
She sleeps in her little bed in her fosters bedroom at night until dad leaves, then it's up and under the blankets with mom.💜
Wren was abused in her previous home and will need an owner willing to give her space and time.
She will need an owner that moves slow initially and let's her gain her confidence and trust. She will not be immediately affectionate and trusting.
She truly is the sweetest little girl once she loves someone and feels safe.
She deserves her happily ever after.
Home Requirements:
Securely fenced yard at least 5 ft high.
No small kids
No cats
Another playful and confident dog in the home.
She is spayed, fully vetted and HW negative.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Submit an application online and we will do vet and personal references and reach out to you asap.

2.

Interview

After doing reference checks we will call you to answer any additional questions about the dog and see if it sounds like a match!

3.

Meet the Pet

Arrange a meeting between all family and existing pets and the new dog. This will most likely be done at your home for everyone's comfort.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

If it is a good match for everyone, we require an adoption contract and the adoption fee at that time.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Set up a time for you to take home your new family member. And we are always here to help with that transition and any future questions.

Additional adoption info

Adoption donation required. This covers altering, 6 in 1 series vaccinations, rabies vaccination if over four months old, bordatella vaccination, deworming, heartworm testing (treatment if positive), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation.

All SOAR dogs go through a ten day quarantine period to insure they are healthy, before being put up for adoption. Though if the dog is an owner turn in and has been to a vet within the last ten days they go immediately up for adoption, with a further exam at the time of altering.
If for any reason the dog does not work out in your family we will take the dog back into our care at any time during the lifetime of the dog. (We require that the dog be returned to us, as per the contract).
