Rocket is a young pup with an old soul and heart full of love. While still having puppy tendencies, he is attuned to the energies and emotions of those around him. He can play hard with energetic dogs, but will also pacify them if need be. He has a special skill of gently coaxing shy/timid dogs to play. Rocket lights up and gets excited around people, yet he remained calm during a visit at an adult day care center. Rocket would thrive in a home that could nurture and utilize his unique abilities to adapt to different environments and relationships with dogs and people.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets.
