My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say Hello to Tristan! Tristan was found as an injured stray by a member of the public and taken into animal control. It was determined after X-rays were taken that his leg was far too gone to be able to save. Although he is missing a leg, he gets around great. I would even go as far to say he runs faster than our cats with all 4 legs! Tristan is a very lovable kitty who will let you pet him anywhere on his body. He especially loves chest and armpit rubs. Sometimes when you scratch his armpits he will stretch his front legs out. You will often find Tristan sleeping in a cozy cat bed, soft blanket or stretched out as far as his body will allow on the floor. Even though he is not a super tiny cute kitten, he is very easy to fall in love with. His goofy and sweet personality shines right through him. He loves to run around the house and play with the other cats. He especially loves to wrestle and play with his current foster sibling Cowgirl. Tristan gets along well with other cats and children. At this time, we are unsure how he would do with dogs but given his young age, with a proper introduction he would likely be able to live happily with a k9 companion in the home. Tristan is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Tristan is about 1 year old.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who are trying to make an impact on the feral cat and kitten population in our county. We are also expanding to rescue and foster puppies and dogs. We are foster based and run on donations and support of our community. Our rescued animals are carefully assessed and placed with an experienced foster. All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We also TNR and have barn cats available too.
