Currant is a 6-year-old Mini Aussie with a heart as sweet as her name. After a rough start to life, she’s blossomed in her foster home, proving that patience and love can work wonders. While she’s still learning to fully trust humans, she’s made incredible progress—from shy and scared to following her favorite people around with curious little steps. Just know that when you visit Currant, she will be extremely shy.
Currant gets along beautifully with dogs and cats, learning the ropes of good behavior from her furry friends, though she’d also thrive as your one-and-only. A fenced yard is her happy place, where she can zoom around leash-free, and she’s got a soft spot for treats (the way to her heart is definitely through snacks!).
She’s low-energy, crate-trained, and has a quiet demeanor, only barking when absolutely necessary. Currant is working hard on her potty training and is already a pro with puppy pads. She’s still building up her courage to snuggle close, but her gentle spirit will melt your heart.
If you’ve got patience, a kind soul, and a pocketful of treats, Currant could be your perfect match. She’s ready for her forever home and a lifetime of love—are you the one to give her the happy ending she deserves?
