Meet Wolfgang, a friendly feline whose foster describes him as “a joy to be around.” He has a knack for making life more fun and is the perfect sidekick.
Wolfgang’s favorite activity is napping, aside from getting attention and treats and using his scratching posts with great vigor. He likes sleeping up high on his cat tower facing the window where he can be part of the neighborhood watch, keeping an eye on what’s going on. When it’s playtime, he likes to play in small spurts, mostly hunting and stalking wand toys and batting balls back and forth. He’s very intelligent and can figure out puzzle toys to get a treat.
Wolfgang definitely needs to be the only cat in the home — even seeing or smelling another cat stroll by will ruin his day, making him act out with challenging behavior. His foster shares that he’s still learning that people aren’t toys, and needs someone that can read body language and continue to teach him this. He is responding well to training and positive reinforcement for good behaviors. He’s also very curious about the outside world, and care needs to be taken not to allow him to escape when doors are opened.
This sweet sociable man is a conversational, go-with-the-flow, low maintenance cat. Everyone who has met Wolfgang has been greeted at the door and impressed with his friendly demeanor. He loves getting petted, and will rub his head against your knuckles begging for more attention. At bedtime, he prefers to sleep on his favorite chair in the living room, though will occasionally join his foster and curl up at the foot of the bed.
With his mellow vibe and big personality, Wolfgang is the perfect companion for an experienced cat guardian who appreciates a chill buddy with a dash of charm, and knows how to set cats up for success. He’s ready to nap, snack, and chat his way into your heart!
