Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventatives.
House trained/Crate Trained: Yes and Yes.
Dogs/Cats/Children: Loves dogs, cats, and children!
Energy Level: Medium to high.
Before FAR/My History: Somebody found me running in a sod field on 9/22/24. I got picked up right before Hurricane Helene tore through the state.
Training Status/Commands I know: Binx is doing great learning leash manners on a prong collar and e-collar training as well. Binx knows "sit", "place", "here", "break", and "let's go". Binx is also learning the "down" command. He is a quick learner and treat motivated.
Working on: Binx is working on channeling his energy outdoors and calming down while indoors.
Things I like: Binx loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves nylabone chew rings, chasing tennis balls, and treats.
Things I don’t like: There is really not much that Binx doesn't like. He is pretty go with the flow so far.
Things that make my humans happy: Binx has a very sweet demeanor. His eyes will hypnotize you.
Ideal Family/Home: Binx would thrive in a home with other dogs and/or cats, and children as well. He is still a puppy, so he will need a family who can provide structure and continue teaching him.

In the application, you can specify a particular dog in which you are interested, or let us know what type of pet in which you are looking, so we can find the perfect animal to fit your family and your needs. Once the application is received, a board member will review the application, and make contact with the potential adopter within 48 hours. This initial contact may include further questions/more information, or may include scheduling a meet and greet for you to meet the animal in which you are interested! Once the application is approved or the meet and greet goes well, then the adoption can be finalized. To finalize the adoption, an adoption agreement must be completed, the adoption fee paid (we accept cash, paypal, or credit/debit card), and then the potential adopter can take their new family member home with them or schedule pick up of their furry family member! The adoption fee varies based on the dog or puppy you are interested in. Some of the adoption fees have been listed on the individual dog's description but if you do not see one then please reach out and we would be happy to talk to you about it! Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving home. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible. We have many wonderful pets looking for forever homes!
