Milkshake is a big Great Pyrenees with a heart as soft as his newly growing coat. Rescued from Bakersfield in rough shape, Milkshake arrived matted, malnourished, and in need of some serious TLC. With his mats shaved off and plenty of nourishing meals, he’s on his way to a healthier, happier life.

This sensitive boy carries the memory of his tough past, especially when it comes to food, but he’s slowly learning that he’s safe now and surrounded by love. Milkshake’s journey has revealed a sweet, affectionate side, and he’s blossoming into a loyal and gentle companion.

If you’re ready to open your heart to a sensitive, loving giant, Milkshake will repay you with unconditional affection and a lifetime of gentle snuggles. He’s ready for a forever home where he can truly feel safe, cherished, and loved.

Meet the Pet

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
