My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nana, affectionately nicknamed `Upside-Down Dog` by our staff for her adorable habit of flopping over to request belly rubs. This sweet, shy girl has a gentle soul and finds comfort in the company of those she trusts. While the big world can feel a little overwhelming at times, Nana thrives with patient encouragement and will do just about anything for pets and love.

Once Nana gets to know you, she’ll greet you in her signature style—flopping onto her back, tail wagging, ready for endless belly rubs. She’s a fan of toys and treats and enjoys playful moments with some of her dog friends at the shelter.

Nana recently spent time in a foster home, where she truly shined. Her fosters described her as a “velcro dog” who loved sticking by their side. She delighted in doing zoomies in the yard but was just as happy cuddling up for a cozy day together. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy and upside-down smiles into your life, Nana might just be your perfect match!
