My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Sherlock and I'm about 22 weeks old. I was found stray with my littermates with a feral mama cat. We were rescued and brought to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. We have been living in a foster home since we were 8 weeks old. My foster dad says Sherlock (A.K.A. The Snuggler) is a young male kitten that is very loving and sweet. He is good with other cats, dogs, and young children. Like all kittens he enjoys playing with string and other toys.....but in his heart he just wants to snuggle. A few pets will have him rolling over on his back and kneading the air with his paws. I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $130. Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires the completion and approval of an adopter's profile form. This form can be obtained in person or on-line at our web site, www.bondcohs.petfinder.com. It can be completed and e-mailed to the address provided for review. We have a standard adoption agreement. Dog adoption fees vary depending on breed, and age of dog. They generally range from $125 to $250. Cat adoption fees are $90 for kittens (under 1 year of age), $55 for adult cats that have been housed at the shelter for 1 year or less. Adoption fees for cats that have been housed at the shelter for multiple years are by donation.

We conduct off-site adoptions on Saturdays at the following locations:

PETCO - Fairview Heights, IL
Every Saturday, 11-3 (except holiday weekends)

Shelter hours are 1-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Sunday is ONLY by appointment.
