Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Riggs has been the easiest, sweetest boy to foster. We were prepared to give him lots of time and space when he came home, but he was immediately happy and eager to love on us and play with us. Riggs has shown us what a lovable, goofy, cuddly love bug he is! The way he leans in to you for love will melt your heart.
He must have had a person in the past because he appears to be housebroken and knows sit and shake, which he will do unbidden if he sees you with a food bowl! It’s pretty stinking cute. He’s also an insanely quick learner, picking up high 5 and down in a single session! He loves to learn and is very food motivated.
Riggs is an active boy and loves his walks. He would be a great running or hiking buddy! But he’s also a great lazy boy, and happy to sleep in late. I just can’t imagine a scenario that Riggs wouldn’t thrive in.
He’s very interested in other dogs but I think he can get overwhelmed with lots of dogs around. However,Riggs did amazing with our resident dog - he is always so interested in meeting other pups so I’m not surprised but I was also shocked at how well he did with our resident cats! Just a few sniffs and curiosity but no issues with wanting to chase. With proper intros and time to adjust, Riggs will fit right into your existing pack!
He has NO issues with being left alone in his room. He finds a cozy place and snoozes, and happily greets us with tail wags when we come in. He’s a very good boy. If you’ve read this far I think you can agree: he’s pretty perfect!! We can’t wait for Riggs to find his new people. He deserves all the love, cuddles, and blankets in the world. In exchange, he’ll give you all the love, gentle kisses, and full body hugs you can handle.
