My name is Kona!

Kona has been with our family for nine years since he was a tiny puppy. Kona is protective, empathetic, and eager to lead. His favorite place is as close as possible to you on your favorite chair or sofa. He enjoys short walks and can go almost two miles.

When Kona was about 2 years old, he was attacked by a large dog and spent about 6 months recovering. Kona doesn't get along with most other dogs now but can be great pals with some, usually small female dogs.

Now, we've relocated from the Bay Area to Santa Monica and our kids have become busy teens. We parents are now also both working leaving Kona alone when someone was with him all the time his whole life.

We are seeking a home for Kona to have a companion, couple, or family ready for a tiny guardian, couch cuddler, and friend with a "heck ya" attitude.
